How to cancel your booking
Cancelling your storage booking is straightforward through the Splacebar app. Follow these steps to cancel your booking and understand the refund process.
1. Go to My Storage
Tap on 'My Storage' to view all your current bookings.
2. Select Booking to Cancel
Find and tap on the specific booking you want to cancel.
3. Choose Cancel Booking
Tap the 'Cancel Booking' option and review the cancellation policy.
4. Confirm Cancellation
Review the refund deposit less any charges and confirm your cancellation request.
5. Cancellation Complete
Splaceabr will process your refund within 5 business days.
Splacebar's cancellation policy
We have one standardized cancellation policy that applies to all storage bookings. Here's how it works:

- • Free cancellation up to 7 days before selected storage end date
- • Full refund minus processing fees
- • Partial refund for cancellations with less than 7 days notice
- • Standardized policy for all bookings
Important: Always check your specific booking's cancellation policy before confirming the cancellation. The policy will be clearly displayed during the cancellation process. For detailed information about premature cancellation, please refer to our Terms and Conditions (Section 9.6).
When you can cancel
Cancellation policy
Whether you cancel before your storage starts or during your storage period, the same cancellation policy applies based on your selected storage end date.
- Cancel at least 7 days before your selected storage end date for full refund (minus processing fees)
- Cancel with less than 7 days notice for partial refund
- Same policy applies regardless of when you cancel during your booking
- Early termination requires coordination with space owner for pickup arrangements
Emergency cancellations
If you need to cancel due to an emergency (medical, family, etc.), contact Splacebar support immediately. We may be able to review your request for special circumstances at our discretion.
How refunds work
When you cancel a booking, here's what happens with your refund:
Automatic processing
Refunds are automatically calculated based on the space owner's cancellation policy and processed immediately upon cancellation.
Refund timeline
Refunds typically appear in your original payment method within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Confirmation email
You'll receive an email confirmation with your refund amount and expected processing time.
