Access and Correction

Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information and account. You can submit a deletion request through:

• Mobile App: Login to your account, tap the hamburger menu (☰), select "Delete Account", and follow the instructions
• Email: Send a request to hello@splacebar.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your registered email address

Deletion Process

When you request account deletion:

• Your request will be reviewed by our administrator within 30 days
• We will send you a confirmation email once your data has been deleted
• The following information will be permanently deleted:
  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Your booking history and preferences
  • Your messages and communications
  • Your saved locations and search history

Information Retention

Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

• Transaction Records: Financial transaction data may be retained for up to 7 years for accounting, tax, and audit purposes
• Legal Compliance: Information necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
• Backup Systems: Copies of deleted data may remain in our backup systems for up to 90 days and will be automatically purged
• Anonymized Data: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you personally may be retained for analytics purposes

We will not accommodate a request to delete information if we believe the deletion would violate any law or legal requirement, or if the information is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our App, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our App.
